Our children need positive role-models and mentors, who are willing to introduce them to "America's Favorite Pastime," the game of baseball. Our organization needs volunteers, willing to help organize the day's events and it also need those who are willing to work 1-on-1 with our children as "Buddies."
What is a Buddy?
Buddies directly help children navigate the game of baseball. They help them when they're at the plate, they help them navigate the field, and they help them in their various fielding positions. Buddies keep children safe, while at the same time encouraging them to do their best!
What's a Volunteer?
Volunteers help out in a variety of ways, throughout the day. They may serve as an umpire, an announcer, concessions worker, or any number of other positions that make the day as memorable as it can possibly be, for these youngsters. Volunteers are a driving force behind the success of the Miracle League of Blair County.
